Days 4, 5, 6

For the next couple of days, my friends and I have been trying to get our bearings here in San Jose. We traveled what ended up being very far to go to an indian restaurant (we didn't really know where we were going):

Then, we went to a "lady's night" at a bar after our tropical dance class and that was very fun.
The next day, I walked around town hoping to get some cool pictures:
There is A LOT of graffiti in San Jose. People tag during the day even!
A LOT of houses have barbed wire or electric fences on top of their gates. Nearly all the houses have gates and multiple, multiple locks.
Mountains surround the city, making pretty much anywhere you turn a pretty view.

I officially tried a Costa Rican empanadas (not nearly as nice as the Puerto Rican ones).

Veritas University is the name of the school I'm studying in. It has a very strong study abroad program but for locals and the rest of Latin America, it's one of the best places to study fine arts such as photography, fashion design, interior design and architecture.
