Pre-Departure/Pre-Vacation: New Year's in Florida

Waking up to frigid cold this morning in New York, I knew there was no better time than now to be heading towards the tropics. Despite the cold, I traveled to JFK in a long sleeve shirt and flip flops, determined to leave the whole jacket idea behind me. 

Unfortunately, it's essentially a monsoon here in West Palm Beach, and we had planned to spend New Years outside, since it has been beautiful weather here for weeks. 

No matter, I'm still wearing my heels and I still did my hair. Rain is NOT going to ruin my new year's style. 😝
